The NYS Stem Incentive Program provides tuition awards to students who are New York State residents attending a public or private degree-granting college or university located in New York State. Recipients must be in the top 10% of students in their high school graduating class, 追求一个被认可的, two or four-year STEM degree and agree to live in NYS and work in a science, 技术, engineering or math field in NYS for five years after graduation.
The STEM eligible majors at Alfred University include: Biomaterials Engineering, 陶瓷工程, 玻璃工程科学, Materials Science and Engineering, 机械工程, 可再生能源工程, 生物学, 数学, 数学与精算学, 科学概论, 化学, 地质与物理.
Stem funding is the tuition of $7,070 at a SUNY State-operated college less any TAP award.
Students enrolled in the College of Business, College of Liberal 艺术 & 科学, Performing 艺术 programs and mechanical and renewable energy engineering majors may apply for 加强学费援助 eligibility through the Higher Education Services Corporation.
After other sources of aid are factored in, the maximum award jointly paid by the state and the university is $6,000元加3元,000美元来自纽约.
Qualifying students enrolled in the New York State College of Ceramics in either the School of Art and Design or a materials-based engineering program—Biomaterials Engineering, 陶瓷工程, 玻璃工程科学, and Materials Science and Engineering—may apply for the 精益求精的奖学金 through the Higher Education Services Corporation.
Those students who receive funding may be awarded up to $5,500 depending on what other sources of aid they've received. The 精益求精的奖学金 is only awarded if all other grants and scholarships received are less than the tuition of $7,070 at a SUNY State-operated college.
In addition to the supported options, we also offer institutional aid. No matter what your family’s income range may be, we hope you will apply for our grants and scholarships to help offset your tuition even further.
