Grace Evans '22
Artist and Educator
Grace Evans (she/they, ella/elle) is an artist and educator from Pittsburgh who is passionate about learning. She earned her degree in Art & Design from Alfred University with minors in Art History and Spanish. For the past several years, Grace has been working to build community through arts-based programming in both English and Spanish.
Grace works as a SOY Pittsburgh Coordinator at the Latino Community Center, a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh, PA whose mission is to empower, advocate with, and celebrate the Latinx community in Allegheny County. Grace coordinates SOY (Supporting Our Youth), a bilingual afterschool program and is proud to have a meaningful impact in her community, helping local students to express themselves and be proud of who they are. Grace is especially dedicated to JEDAI work and creating opportunities for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Hobbies: On the weekends, you’ll find Grace selling art at markets, playing with her dog, or in the woods hiking on a camping trip! She loves to play all types of games, cook new foods, and spend time with her family and friends. You may see some of her work in local galleries or for sale at art markets around Pittsburgh.
Grace earned a B.F.A. from Alfred University in 2022.
